Fueling off of their smash internet hit, It's A New Who Dey!, Longtime Fans and YoursOnDemand.com have teamed up once again to release a new CD single, 9Lives (Can't Beat Them Cats). Longtime Fans received such a great response from their previous song that they decided to keep the creativity flowing and make a song for another one of the other local teams they enjoy. This song merges the College Band sound with a Hip-Hop feel. 9Lives is full of energy and encourages crowd participation. It's meant to convey appreciation for the many years of competitive basketball at UC.

In keeping with the tradition of donating a portion of the proceeds to a worthy cause, this time Longtime Fans have chosen BASE. BASE, an acronym for Brothers And Sisters Excelling, is a peer mentoring and role modeling program designed to assist in the retention of students, through faculty, staff, and upper class students volunteering as mentors at UC.

"We received hits from literally all over the world on the It's A New Who Dey! song that we did about the Bengals," spokesperson Billay Brooks said. "That energy and exposure encouraged us to keep the creativity flowing, and since we are huge fans of UC basketball, this was the next logical choice."
